Fathers, Brothers, Sons ~ who writes for who ~

Timothy ~ written by Rhys f

Who is Timothy, the young blind cook who has travelled from Portugal to return to Nottingham after eleven years absence?
His return proves to be a most unwelcome one for Hugo and Robert de Rainault, waking some demons and proving once again that "Nothing is ever forgotton"....

Much ~ written by all writers

In the year that has passed since Robert disclosed to the Merries his blood-link with Gisbourne, Much and Robert have maintained an uneasy friendship.
What does the future hold for Much - and can he and Robert ever reconcile their differences?

Adela ~ written by Nikke i

Adela is my own creation. She has been the mistress of the Earl for the past twenty years and resides at Huntingdon.

She is a sensible, intelligent woman, who is not driven by motives of greed and power. Her main aim is to build a bridge between Robert and David, as David's actions have repercussions that affect everyone....

Moth ~ written by Annie g

William Moth is a man who desires revenge.  Having taken over the leadership of Adam Bell's group of outlaws, he has spent the past two years on the borders of Scotland. But now he is back, with a band of outlaws to equal Robert of Huntingdon's.
However, Moth is not guilty of EVERYthing that befalls Robert and his men...

The Earl of Huntingdon  ~ written by Nikke i

I'm Nikke, from England, and I write for David, Earl of Huntingdon.
Seeing a few glimpses of the relationship between Robert and David in the tv series was interesting.  I decided to delve deeper and explore David, and change him somewhat. He is not evil, but he is misguided, stubborn, blinkered - and somewhat selfish. He is a man who suddenly feels his own mortality very keenly; the fact that he has no direct legitimate male heir - and he decides to do something about it...
David will demand obediance from Robert, and if he does not get that obediance, then he will resort to violence to bring his son to heel...

Abbot Hugo ~ written by all writers

There was once another Hugo, long ago, who was not all that bad; who perhaps had a conscience....
So what changed him, corrupted him to what he is today?
"Fathers, Brothers, Sons" will show glimpses of that long-ago Hugo - whose conscience and whose loyalty to his undeserving younger brother back then, cost him dearly and made him who he is today...
And the de Rainault brothers find themselves in a very perilous situation - where the outcome could be their deaths....

Meg of Sedgeley ~ written by Esther h

Meg of Wickham is now the Widow of Sedgeley. Her marriage of a year ago ended when Adam was killed in an accident a month before Fathers, Brothers, Sons began. Alone and with a child on the way Meg must put her grief aside to assure the future for herself and her unborn child. Her links with the outlaws remain strong, especially with Robert’s wife Rhiannon, but what does the future have in store for Meg and John?

Ailmaar ~ written by Esther h

Ailmaar has the dubious honour of being the Sheriff's squire whilst he is away from Nottingham. Fifteen years old, unused to his master's moods and a Saxon to boot - how will he fare in charge of the Sheriff's escort of battle hardened Norman soldiers?
