Fathers, Brothers, Sons ~ who writes for who ~

Robert of Huntingdon ~ written by Siiri  i

I'm Siiri, from England. I'm the longest serving writer on HoS, joining three days after it was founded, and I write for Robert and his wife Rhiannon.  My Robert isn't exactly like Jason's portrayal - I don't even see Jason in my head when I write for him.  If you visit our group to read the actual story you'll see in fact that Robert is blind.  Why, and how that affects the dynamics of the outlaw group - you will have to read the story to find out.....
My aim for Robert is to develop him, give him more depth - and to sail into previously uncharted waters with him. I do my best always to be original and am not interested in pursuing the usual Robert themes in RoS fanfic.  I'm also not fond of the "goldenhaired hero" image, so you won't catch me doing that with him.  Or any angst... But I hope you will find my Robert to be a likeable and enjoyable character who will make you laugh, cry - and think.
I'm learning all the time about so many things as I write for Robert - and I'm enjoying the journey!

Rhiannon ~ written by Siiri i

Rhiannon of Leicester is Robert's wife, and mother of his daughter Ellie, who is five months old at the start of "Fathers, Brothers, Sons."

I decided very early on in "Against the Darkness" our first story, that Robert deserved someone better than Marian... So I created Rhiannon for him. She is a nice link to the past, being Ailric of Loxley's illegitimate daughter and thus the half-sister of Robin of Loxley. She is also distantly related to Will's dead wife Elena....

Little John ~ written by Gwyn h

I'm Gwyn, from Wales and I write for John.  John's always been one of my favourite characters, and someone I identify with.  There are elements in his personality that are elements in my own.  He was very much a background figure in much of Against the Darkness, but my intention, now I have him to write for, is to bring him far more into the foreground of the current story Fathers, Brothers, Sons and to be once more the solid supporting character that he was in RoS.
As for Meg - she is still around, but her situation has changed from when you last saw her in RoS, so we will have to see what happens there...

Jenet ~ written by Angela a

Jenet and her young daughter Nesta have returned to Elsdon from Lincoln after the death of her husband Thomas, and settled back in the village that accused her of witchcraft six years previously. But what does the future hold in store for the widowed Jenet? Could her new relationship with outlaw Alan a Dale change all that she has come to know?

Will ~ written by Annie g

I'm Annie from England.  I'm second-longest serving writer on here, and I write for Will.
Will has always been my favourite RoS character. I find he is humourous when he doesn't mean to be. I like his straight-forwardness and his fierce loyalty to those he allows himself to care for.
I have never wanted to go down the "tortured soul" route with Will.  He is a man, and a Medieval man at that. What you see is what you get.  And yet, as I write for him, he surprises me sometimes in odd ways.
He's one of the most defined characters in the tv series - we know quite a lot about his background, his past history.  But I hope to develop that and expand him in Fathers, Brothers, Sons.  Watch out for his love-hate relationship with Alan a Dale!
I've always felt, that if the outlaws encountered a crises and Robert was absent, Will would take the helm and show true leadership qualities.  And in Fathers, Brothers, Sons, he might just get the chance....

Tuck ~ written by Angela a

I'm Angela from the UK and I'm writing for Tuck.  What secrets does he have in his past - and how are they connected with the Abbot Hugo?
Those secrets are going to be revealed  along with his past, as Tuck deals with issues and events that can no longer be locked away...
And the outlaws discover that they don't know their  friend nearly so well as they thought they did...

Hubert ~ written by Karyn _

Hubert finds himself promoted to Captain of the Guard. Despite being fully aware of what the dangers of the position holds, he also discovers a certain sympathy for the outlaws. Can Hubert reconcile his life in Nottingham with those of the forest?
